Volunteer

St. Gabriel Catholic Church is blessed to have over 100 active parish life, outreach and liturgical ministries!  There are many wonderful ways for you to get to know others, grow in faith, and use your talents and gifts in service to Christ.  Information on our many ministries can be found in the Ministries section of our website and in our Stewardship Booklet.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Upcoming volunteer opportunities that have been shared with us by ministry leaders can be found on our Volunteer Opportunities Calendar.  These include opportunities appropriate for adults, teens, and youth.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Our parish is blessed to offer Living Your Strengths for adults and StrengthsQuest for teens.  These programs help participants recognize their unique, God-given talents and understand how their talents impact their roles, relationships and faith - and how God might be calling them to use their talents.  These programs are offered twice a year and can be life-changing!

Youth and Teen Volunteering

There are many opportunities for youth and teens to serve our parish and community.  Our parish bulletin is a great resource for current opportunities.  The Ministries section of our website indicates ministries that have volunteer opportunities for young people with a * symbol.  Find a ministry whose purpose inspires you, and contact the Ministry Leader for volunteer opportunities!

Volunteering Policies:  Safe Environment

All volunteers who work with children, young people or vulnerable adults must complete "Protecting God's Children" training, authorize a background check, and complete several forms.  Find details here.
