Forever Young (75+) May Luncheon

Come join us for a spring luncheon and live entertainment on Friday, May 26, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm in the Ministry Center.  RSVP to the Parish Office at 704-364-5431 by May 22.

Our Mission: To provide the parishioners of St. Gabriel who are of the age of 75 and over, a fun environment and the opportunity to join together in fellowship.


St. Gabriel Artists Group

Spiritual Writers Group

Interested in spiritual writing?  Do you feel God is nudging you to write?  Join a small group of writers using our individual talents to write from the heart and who like to share their personal experiences about writing with others.  We plan to meet monthly and welcome you to join us at our next meeting on Thursday, January 26, from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the Ministry Center.  RSVP to Cathy Esposito at cesposito@stgabrielchurch.org or 704-362-5047,  ext. 276.  Questions?  Contact Judy O’Toole at 704-684-5600.


 

Women’s Fun & Fit Exercise Group 

Looking for a way to exercise and socialize at the same time?  Our Fun & Fit weekly class for women 55+ meets in the Ministry Center on Tuesdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.  It is a chair exercise class to upbeat music, using stretch bands and streamers to strengthen the upper body.  Classes are free and include time to socialize.  New participants are welcome to join anytime!  Lunch, Bunco or birthday celebrations often take place after the class.  Contact Laurel Hamber at laurelcardinali@gmail.com with questions.  


 

St. Gabriels O.W.L.S. (60 +) September Meeting

The next meeting of the St. Gabriel O.W.L.S. (60+) will take place on Wednesday, September 20, at 10:30 am in the Ministry Center.  Singer Ansel Couch will provide entertainment, and lunch will be catered by Culinary Solutions.

RSVP must be received by Friday, September 15.  Donation is $8 for members and $10 for guests, by reservation only.  Membership dues $10/year are due. Cub Scout Pack Meeting:  New Scouts Invited! 

 St. Gabriel parish’s Cub Scout Pack invites returning scouts and boys interested in scouting (grades Kdg through 5) to its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday, September 5, at 6:30 pm, in the school cafeteria.  We will be taking registrations and going over the exciting activities planned for the year.  Join us!  Questions?  Contact Erin Janezic at Erin.Janezic@gmail.com


Girl Scouts:  Recruitment Day

Calling all St. Gabriel parish’s girls and families interested in Girl Scouting to Recruitment Day on Saturday, September 10, at 2:30 pm, in the school cafeteria.  All ages are welcome. New troops will be formed, and  existing ones will be referred. Girls will have activities, while adults will learn more about the Girl Scouts Organization.  Join us!
