Our Mission: To provide the parishioners of St. Gabriel, who are of the age of 75 and over, a fun environment and the opportunity to join together in fellowship.
Calling all artists! Join other adult artists (of every level) for a morning of shared creativity every Saturday morning at 10:30 am in the St. Gabriel School Art Room 106. Interested in spiritual writing? Do you feel God is nudging you to write? Join a small group of writers using our individual talents to write from the heart and who like to share their personal experiences about writing with others. We plan to meet monthly and welcome you to join us at our next meeting on Thursday, January 26, from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the Ministry Center. Looking for a way to exercise and socialize at the same time? Our Fun & Fit weekly class for women 55+ meets in the Ministry Center on Tuesdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. It is a chair exercise class to upbeat music, using stretch bands and streamers to strengthen the upper body. Classes are free and include time to socialize. New participants are welcome to join anytime! Lunch, Bunco or birthday celebrations often take place after the class. Contact Laurel Hamber at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
The next meeting of the St. Gabriel O.W.L.S.(55+) is Wednesday, April 19, at 10:30 am, in the Ministry Center. Carol Anne Lawler is returning to speak to us on health and diet. Lunch will be catered by Culinary Solutions.

Join us Saturday, May 20, at 6:30 pm in the Ministry Room D for the multi award-winning documentary, “Liberating a Continent: John Paul II and the Fall of Communism”.
A discussion and light refreshments will follow this 90 minute film. The event is organized by UNC-Charlotte faculty members Dr. Dean Hoffman and Dr. Kamila Valenta, and it is free and open to all.
