Spirituality is about belonging: “being” + “longing”.*
The process of BEING answers questions like:
– Who am I?
-What is my purpose in life?
– What is God’s plan for my life?
The process of LONGING is finding the true desires of one’s heart. It will answer questions like:
– What do I love?
– What causes joy in my life?
– What makes me feel most alive?

What is the Spirituality Ministry?

In the Spirituality Ministry, our focus is to offer opportunities of continued growth for adults in the process of becoming and belonging (both on an individual and group basis). We do this through prayer, retreats, spiritual direction, and small faith sharing groups

By utilizing these opportunities, we are better able to discern God’s call for our lives through reflection and self-examination. By being still, discovering our hearts desires and growing in self-knowledge, we are able to see more clearly the path He is calling us towards, and to live a more enriched life.

This ministry also helps nurture vocations (Ordained, married or single /Religious), avocations (what “work” we are called to do) , service opportunities (at the parish level or in the community) and following the will that God has for each of our individual lives.

Part of each of our calling is to find our place in community. Each of us has unique gifts to offer and receive by living fully as a part of community. By journeying with others, we learn more about who we are and how we can best live out our calling as part of the Body of Christ.

Joy is the most infallible sign of the presence of God. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
