ABOUT FR. JOHN BARTUNEK Fr. John Bartunek, a friend of Fr. Mike Mitchell’s, best-selling author of books including The Better Part, and spiritual advisor on the set of Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” is coming to St. Gabriel! His fascinating journey includes receiving earning a BA in History from Stanford University, converting to Catholicism, working as a high school history teacher, drama director, baseball coach, and professional actor - all before becoming a priest. In addition to his ministries, Fr. Bartunek is a well-known author, teacher, speaker, and regular network-news commentator.
