All are invited to join us for 9:00 am Mass next Saturday, March 26, in the church followed by a dedication and blessing of our parish’s new Stations of the Cross and Rosary Walk. The greenspace behind the Grotto and preschool playground has been lovingly transformed this winter through generous gifts from several parish families. A gravel pathway now leads the way past the 14 Stations of the Cross and the 20 mysteries of the Rosary. When the grass fills in, the newly landscaped greenspace will be a beautiful gathering place.
The Stations of the Cross and Rosary stones will be dedicated in loving memory of Ale Skinkle – parishioner, loving wife and mother, friend, St. Gabriel School teacher, and Belmont Abbey alumna. Her deep and joyful faith – demonstrated so powerfully through her long battle with cancer – brought many in our parish and school closer to Jesus and our Blessed Mother. Abbot Placid will join us for Mass and the dedication.
