In this four-part summer Bible study with Dr. David Glasow, we will explore the missionary journeys of Saint Paul in the latter half of the remarkable book, The Acts of the Apostles. After taking in Acts’ unique way of sharing the gospel’s growth after the Ascension of Christ, we will follow Paul’s travels, listening in on his proclamation of the Risen Christ. This class will examine several aspects of Acts. What was the connection between Acts and its predecessor the Gospel of Luke? How did Paul share the good news to the pagan world? What can we learn from Paul to enlighten our lives as we seek to follow Christ’s call to be a light on a hill to those we encounter?
All are welcome! No prerequisite.
Join us whether you are new or experienced in Bible study.
Optional study text of Acts will be available for purchase at the class.
